- First contact practitioners are registered health professionals in muscular and bone related health problems.
- They can offer telephone , video and face to face appointments at Bodmin road health centre.
- Common conditions they manage include sciatica, osteoarthritis and tendinopathy.
- They can order x-rays and other radiological tests for further assessment.
- They can advise on physiotherapy and other treatments. In some cases they can organise and administer joint injections.
