New Appointment System
We will be introducing a new appointment system on Monday 3rd October 2016 which we hope will better meet our patient needs and reduce our reliance on the "On the day appointments" that currently exist and the problems that this causes patients who struggle to contact the practice at this time. We will be introducing two shorter morning clinics for the doctors with fewer on the day appointments but more routine appointments. We hope that this will reduce the need to contact the practice at 8am and give patients more confidence that when they contact the practice later in the day there will be more routine appointments available within a reasonable time frame. We will of course continue to monitor the system to ensure that it better meets our patients requirements.
Publication of GP net earnings 2014/2015
"All GP Practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.
The average pay for GP's working in Bodmin Road Health Centre in the last financial year was £52,674 before tax and National Insurance. This is for 1 full time GP, 4 part time GP's and 1 locum GP who worked in the practice for more than six months."
Named Accountable GP for all Patients
All patients have a named GP who is responsible for your overall care at the practice.
Please contact the practice if you wish to know who this is. If you have a preference as to which GP this is, then we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate this request.

Of course we’re not just here for when you are unwell. Our team of healthcare professionals and back-up staff offer a number of clinics and services to promote good health and wellbeing whatever your medical condition.
We hope you enjoy having a look around the site and familiarising yourself with some of the online features such as ordering a repeat prescription. Whatever your thoughts, be sure to let us know via our feedback function. Comments and suggestions are always a great way of helping us continue to enhance the way we look after you.
There is a designated parking space for the disabled with a ramp and easy access to the health centre and all consulting rooms. We have a minicom/loop system for patients who have impaired hearing.

Care Quality Commission
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) are the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England.
The CQC make sure health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care and encourage them to improve.
They monitor, inspect and regulate services to make sure they meet fundamental standards of quality and safety and publish what is found, including performance ratings to help people choose care.
Our GP Practice has recently undergone a CQC inspection and the results are now freely available on the CQC Website. You can access the report below
